When should I choose Vertical zebra blinds?
Choose vertical zebra blinds for wide windows over 2.5 m, panoramic glazing, terrace doors or full glass walls. Ideal for living rooms with low sun, meeting rooms, restaurants and commercial spaces where a large surface needs to be covered by a single system. For standard windows under 2.5 m, classic (horizontal) zebra blinds are often more economical.

How they work
Vertical zebra blinds consist of vertical slats with alternating sheer and opaque bands, hung from a top aluminium track. A chain or motor mechanism rotates the slats on their axis and draws them sideways. When the opaque bands face the room, the space is darkened; when rotated 180°, the sheer bands overlap and light passes through. Designed for wide and tall surfaces where horizontal zebra blinds aren't optimal.

What are the biggest dimensions you can make with one system?
Up to ~5 m wide and 3.5 m tall with a single system. For larger panoramas we split into two systems that move symmetrically.
Can the slats close tightly without light leaks?
Yes — standard models close tight to each other. For maximum blackout, choose blackout fabric for the slats.
How are vertical slats cleaned?
Best with an antistatic cloth for dust, or lukewarm water with a mild detergent (no fabric softener) for deeper cleaning. Slats can be unhooked individually and rinsed.
