How they work
A pleated partition door is pleated fabric mounted on top and bottom rails (or just top for the lite version). It draws horizontally across the opening and stacks into a compact pack (5-15% of total width). The system works on the accordion principle — no hinges, no door swinging in one direction. Can be one-way (drawing to one end) or two-way (from the middle to both sides).

What the price depends on
Pleated partition doors are priced per square metre, and the price depends on height (standard up to 2.7 m), width (up to 6 m with one system), fabric type (standard polycotton or premium with pattern) and the system (top rail only vs top+bottom for greater stability). Price includes precise measurement, manufacturing and professional installation.
Frequently asked questions
Do they block sound?
Partially — standard fabric blocks about 15-20 dB of sound. For better acoustic isolation a double-fabric version with an air gap blocks up to 30 dB.
How long do they last in residential use?
With normal use (5-20 cycles per day), 8-12 years without significant wear. The mechanism needs no lubrication.
Can it fit where there are pipes or lights on the ceiling?
Yes — the top rail is thin (only 25-30 mm) and can be mounted under obstructions. We adapt to the architecture on-site.
