How they work

Classic curtains are rectangular fabric panels hung from a curtain rod via eyelets, pencil pleats, tab tops or hooks. They draw horizontally along the rod to open or close. Drapes are more developed — with a finished top edge and often a double layer (sheer + heavy fabric). At Grombi we work with fabrics from Turkey, Italy and Germany — natural (cotton, linen) and synthetic (polyester, blackout-lined).

For heavy drapes we recommend an aluminium or wooden rod with 2 tracks (for a double layer — sheer + drape). For light curtains — a single track or metal rings.

Can I bring my own fabric?

Yes. We make from fabric you supply, with a reduced manufacturing fee. We recommend consulting first to ensure quantity is sufficient.

How long does manufacturing take?

For standard curtains and drapes — 5-7 working days. For more complex with lining, lambrequin or intricate cuts — 10-14 days. Measurement is within 2 days of contact.
